Hi, I’m Aoi.

I’m a certified athletic therapist, offering athletic therapy services both clinical and field environments in Victoria, BC.

What is Athletic Therapy?

We are experts in treating injuries to the musculoskeletal (MSK) systems, including muscles, bones, and joints. Our scope of practice begins with in-depth knowledge, education, and training in human MSK system, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and emergency care.

Our expertise focuses on injury prevention, assessment, on-field emergency care, acute and chronic injury rehabilitation, and reconditioning. We treat a wide range of patients, from kids with concussions to seniors recovering from joint replacement surgeries using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescriptions, and protective/ supportive bracing and taping.

What We Offer.

Prevent.

We can start with prevention.

Here I am to help you discover your mechanics and prevent any potential unwanted injuries/ pain in the future.

Educate your body on a proper neuromuscular activation, and facilitate your optimal functions.

My Approach

Get to the cause.

We can get to the cause & target it.

Let me help you find out why that pain is happening to you.

Why not getting to the cause and treat so that you won’t have to live with that anymore?

Move.

We now move!

I incorporate yoga-based, pilates-based movement to supplement our movement education and rehabilitation.

With me, your body is able to learn proper neuromuscular activation & movements, and to facilitate your functions and injury rehabs.

They will help you as a supplemental tool to enhance your performance in your activities/ sports.
